Like other Georgia colleges, the Savannah College of Art and Design set a new enrollment record this fall, according to figures released Monday. SCAD is teaching 11,063 students at its campuses in Savannah, Atlanta, Hong Kong and Lacoste, France. The figure, which includes students taking courses online, is a 5.8 percent increase over fall 2010. SCAD Atlanta enrollment rose by 7.8 percent. Students from all 50 states and 100 countries are taking classes at the different sites or online, officials said.
