Contrary to information previously published by Peachtree City, there will be no early voting on Oct. 26 in Fayette County.

In-person early voting will still be available 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Mon.-Fri. through Oct. 25 and 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 28-Nov. 1 at the Fayette County Administrative Complex, 140 Stonewall Ave. West (Suite 209A) in Fayetteville, the Peachtree City Library at 201 Willowbend Road, and Tyrone Town Hall at 881 Senoia Road. The races are for mayor and council posts 1 and 2 in Fayetteville; council posts 1 and 2 in Peachtree City; mayor and council posts 1 and 2 in Tyrone; council posts 3, 4 and 5 in Brooks; and council posts 1 and 2 in Woolsey. Polls will be open at all regular locations 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Nov. 5.
