The Sandy Springs Public Facilities Authority has updated its booking and rental policies for the Performing Arts Center at City Springs by allowing bookings farther in advance and changing the way rental rates are determined.

The authority said presenting partners (formerly, "affiliates") – community organizations – can begin booking theater spaces June 1 each calendar year, 15 months in advance of the next performance season, according to a city announcement. Other groups will be able to book Jan. 1 before the start of the next season.

Within the Conference Level, the authority extended the time permitted to book meeting space and the outside terrace from one year in advance currently to up to three years.

Rental rates will now be determined by event room as well as by performance type, duration of use, ticketed or non-ticketed event, and use of rooms in the back of the house, the city said. Also, the order fee was removed as part of a ticket purchase.

The changes take effect immediately. Information: https://bit.ly/2ZpiDzX
