Sandy Springs has scheduled an open house for Monday to advise residents of continuing updates to its long-range planning – specifically, to talk about changes to city zoning codes to match the Next Ten Comprehensive Land Use plan that was approved this spring.

The meeting is to start at 5 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 7840 Roswell Road, Building 500.

Comments received at meetings held in March were included in updates to the draft map that converts zoning current in place with new zoning terminology of the Next Ten plan, officials said. The city also will present code chapters on development regulations, street design and natural resource protection.

Additional public meetings are expected this summer.
