Sandy Springs has posted an online survey, asking local business owners how the COVID-19 outbreak has affected their operations.

"We are trying to understand the impact from your point of view, and will be conducting similar surveys in the weeks to come to help educate as we look at recovery options," the city said in a Facebook posting. While it is not a formal application for assistance, "your response will help us identify the kinds of resources and recovery programs to seek on your behalf."

The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete and will be open until midnight Friday.

Among its questions are if a business is open or closed, its current operating level, change in the number of employees due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and percentage of supplies and services it’s able to receive, goods it’s able to ship and deliver, and services it’s able to provide.
