City of Sandy Springs public works officials will hold an open house from 6-8 p.m. April 29 at the Sandy Springs City Hall council chambers, 7840 Roswell Road, Building 500, on plans to improve the intersection of Roswell Road and Glenridge Drive.

The project seeks to unclog a frequent bottleneck by adding two southbound left-turn lanes on Roswell Road approaching the intersection and two eastbound receiving lanes on Glenridge. An existing northbound right-turn lane on Roswell, north of the existing intersection, will be removed to make room for the improvements, and one more eastbound lane will be added on Glenridge east of the intersection.

There’s no word on the timetable for construction.
