Sandy Springs has called a “visioning feedback session” for Thursday, Oct. 18, on plans to redevelop and revitalize the northern end of the city.

The workshop is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 1 Galambos Way. The city will present a draft visions and goals document covering education, housing, the arts, housing affordability, economic development, transportation and green infrastructure, officials said.

An open house where residents can comment will follow the city’s presentation.

The meeting, a follow-up to a workshop held in July, is intended to help the North End Revitalization Task Force come up with a vision for the North End project area. Recommendations are to be delivered to the City Council by Jan. 1.
