Sandy Springs has scheduled two “Next Ten” community meetings in July, seeking public comment on MARTA and other topics to help it update its Comprehensive Plan.

Both meetings will begin with an open house at 6 p.m. and a formal presentation at 6:30 p.m., followed by discussion and feedback. They will be held at Heritage Sandy Springs, 6110 Blue Stone Road.

  • July 18, a MARTA Small Area Plan Workshop will review and refine draft concepts and discuss the North Springs MARTA station and the future Northridge station area. The meeting is a follow-up to a workshop held in March.
  • July 20, a Comprehensive Plan update will include a look at the framework for future land use and draft concepts for the four Small Area Plans.
