If you’re looking for uplifting, family-friendly events to get in the Christmas spirit, add this one to your list.

Mount Vernon Presbyterian School is putting on a Christmas Arts Showcase on Monday at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center. The event will feature choirs, bands, dance troupes, string ensembles and actors.

Performers in the independent day school’s 90-minute production range from 8 to 19 years old. Before the show, a “Visual Arts Show and Exhibition of Learning” will be put on in the lobby from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10-$20; young children sitting on laps (3 and under) are free. City Springs is located at 1 Galambos Way.
