Sandy Springs resident will have a chance to view two concept plans for improving the traffic flow through the Johnson Ferry Road-Mount Vernon Highway crossroads at town hall meetings March 8.

One meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon, and the other, from 6 to 8 p.m., at B’nai Torah, 700 Mount Vernon Highway.

One proposal calls for two roundabouts in close proximity, and the other, a “grid network” with separate east-west corridors that can operate independently of each other. Plans for sidewalks and enhanced pedestrian connectivity to neighborhoods, shopping and City Springs also will be presented.

The information and displays will be the same at both meetings, officials said. No formal presentation is planned, but city representatives will be available to discuss the project and answer questions. Information: http://bit.ly/2otAcPS
