The Sandy Springs Police Department will hold a free class Jan. 23 for teens ages 14 to 16 who just started driving or are about to start driving. It will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the department at 7840 Roswell Road.

The class will cover Joshua’s Law, parent coaching, teen responsibility, occupant protection and crash dynamics, and it counts toward the supervised driving hours required for a provisional license.
