Industry veteran Andrew Borges has been named to lead the culinary team at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center and the conference center in the new city hall at the City Springs downtown redevelopment.

Under Borges, “the food and beverage department will deliver unique food and beverage experiences focused on regional flavors, quality ingredients and seasonally driven menus,” with menus featuring “a mix of classic Southern favorites with unique twists,” according to a city announcement.

The food and beverage operation will provide catering services to meetings and social events at the Studio Theater and conference center. Borges previously held similar positions at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia and Citi Field in Flushing, New York.
