A Clayton County man has been charged in a fatal shooting over money owed Wednesday evening in Sandy Springs.

Gregory Parson, 24, died late Wednesday at North Fulton Hospital from at least one gunshot wound to the stomach, said Sandy Springs Police spokesman Steve Rose. Parson’s alleged assailant, Demetrius Dunn, 25, was arrested at the Parc of Dunwoody Apartments in the 1000 block of Brentwood Way, where the shooting occurred around 6 p.m.

Parson was rushed to North Fulton Hospital but was pronounced dead at about 10 p.m., Rose said.
