A Bright Horizons Child Care Center teacher’s assistant was arrested Friday in Sandy Spring, police said.

Bernard Benta, 46, of Sandy Springs, was arrested by Milton police on charges of child molestation and sexual assault by a school administrator, Milton police spokesman Lt. Charles Barstow said.

Detectives arrested Benta at his residence and booked him in the Fulton County jail for allegedly inappropriately touching a juvenile male in his care at the school.
