The Sandy Springs City Council has awarded a $268,749 contract to Tri Scapes Inc. to perform landscaping and other services for a multi-purpose path extending from Mount Vernon Highway to Hilderbrand Drive.

Tri-Scape submitted the lowest of eight bids for the work, according to a staff report to the council. The work includes landscaping and irrigation, site grading, sidewalks, curbs and gutters and screening fencing.

The 10-foot-wide concrete path will connect its two namesake streets immediately south of the City Springs project in downtown Sandy Springs.
