Sandy Springs has hired Bryant Poole as assistant city manager for infrastructure. He joins the staff after 28 years with the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Poole will head redevelopment of the City Center and oversee public works and capital improvements. Assistant City Manager Eden Freeman will continue to manage support services and be the point of contact on municipal court, information services, human resources and grants management.

Poole received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte.
