Sandy Springs, Dunwoody to see construction-related lane closures

Selected lanes and ramps of I-285 and Ga. 400 will be closed at various times as the reconstruction continues of their interchange in the Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and Brookhaven area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced.

Closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.:

Monday-Wednesday: the ramp from southbound Ga. 400 to eastbound I-285; the ramp from eastbound I-285 to Glenridge Drive; and two right lanes of eastbound I-285 from Peachtree Dunwoody Road to Perimeter Center Parkway.

Monday-Thursday: various lanes, including the two right lanes and two left lanes, of westbound I-285 from Peachtree Dunwoody to Glenridge, and of eastbound I-285 from Glenridge to Ga. 400.

Monday-Saturday: the ramp from westbound I-285 to northbound Ga. 400; and Lake Forrest Drive from Allen Road to Northwood Drive.

Also, daytime traffic pacing is planned from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday of eastbound I-285 from Roswell Road to Perimeter Center.
