Sandy Springs officials announced Saturday that all city facilities including city hall and municipal court will be closed to the public until further notice. City staff will work remotely.

The city has taken action due to the coronavirus. On Friday, officials canceled events at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center until March 31.

Sandy Springs' Emergency Management Team will continue to report as scheduled, a statement said. Additional staff will telework.

A City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday will be available on live stream. Residents will be able to submit public comment by email. For instructions visit  //sandyspringsga.gov/government/public-meetings-calendar.
