The Salvation Army Georgia Division has assembled a team of nearly 50 people to go to Pennsylvania to provide ongoing assistance to Wilkes-Barre residents affected by flooding.

The team will serve a deployment, which ends Sept. 30.

The Salvation Army asks that people interested in donating go to: www.salvationarmygeorgia.org or call 1-800-725-2769. Donors can also contribute $10 by text messaging the word "STORM" to 80888.
