Baldwin Paving Company, Inc. will begin adding High Friction Surface Treatment to five locations along Union Church Road in south Hall County. Crews will begin work in the evenings at 7 p.m. and work overnight until 6 a.m. each weekday.

Single lane closures will be required to complete this work with flagging operators directing traffic during work hours. No weekend lane closures will take place for this project which should be completed by May 30, weather-permitting.

This project is part of the High Risk Rural Roads Program, a program that mandates federal funds to increase safety and reduce crashes on local roadways. Union Church Road is identified as a major collector as it provides access to State Route 53 and State Route 211.
