The city of Roswell Adult Recreation Center, 830 Grimes Bridge Road is closed until Jan. 18 after an 8-inch water line in the ceiling burst Friday morning.
There was extensive water damage throughout the building, including the computer, billiards and art rooms, said spokeswoman Julie Brechbill. Park and recreation staffers are cleaning the mess, and Brechbill said no dollar estimate on damage has been determined.
Members with rec center fitness passes can use fitness equipment at the East Roswell Recreation Center or the Bill Johnson Community Activity Building in Roswell Area Park after presenting ID.
