The Gwinnett Board of Commissioners recently approved a contract to improve the intersection at Ga. 84/Grayson Parkway and Ridgedale Drive in the Grayson portion of unincorporated Gwinnett.

The project includes a roundabout with curb and gutter and associated drainage improvements between the cities of Snellville and Grayson. Plans include an upgrade to the existing water main located within the project limits, funded by the Department of Water Resources.

Peach State Construction Co. LLC was the lowest of nine responsive bidders and will complete the work. The $1.075 million project is funded 84.39 percent by the 2017 SPLOST program with the balance coming from the Department of Water Resources.
