Construction begins July 13 on the Valley Drive water line project in Roswell, which will impact traffic on several streets.

City officials said one lane will be closed during the project and all work will be done between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. The project is expected to take about two months to complete, weather permitting.

Crews will be replacing a 4-inch asbestos concrete water line with an 8-inch ductile iron pipe on Valley Drive, Valley Court and Pine Valley Court. New hydrants and service lines will also be installed.

Drivers are asked to avoid using the streets during the construction process.
