Having heard from residents in two town hall meetings and a continuing online survey, Roswell officials have directed staff to start preparations for drafting a redevelopment strategy for the Holcomb Bridge Road corridor on the east side of town.

Staff is to present its draft scope of work, and information about the tools and resources available for the task, to the mayor and City Council at a committee meeting scheduled for 5 p.m. March 14, in Room 220 at City Hall, officials said.

On Feb. 14, Council also directed staff to develop the format for city-sponsored charrettes, or collaborative planning sessions, involving the public, staff, city officials, designers and developers.

Residents and business owners are invited to share their ideas online in the East Roswell Vision Survey. The survey will be active through the end of February.
