Roswell citizens have an opportunity to guide the drafting of a Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. The deadline to volunteer is 5 p.m. Friday, May 31.

The city is seeking about 10 residents, ages 18 and over, for its Bicycle and Pedestrian Stakeholder Committee. Information and to apply: www.roswellgov.com/BikePed

Through the master plan process, “the city will evaluate its policies and practices, identify and prioritize bicycle and pedestrian investments, and develop a fiscally realistic implementation strategy,” according to a city announcement.

The process will have three phases: Data gathering, to determine existing conditions; assessment, to establish bicycle and pedestrian needs; and recommendations, to propose policies and infrastructure investments and develop a guide for implementation, the city said.

The master plan is expected to be completed by year's end. All residents also are encouraged to take an online survey about bike and pedestrian connectivity in Roswell: www.roswellgov.com/BikePedSurvey
