The Roswell City Council has approved a list of street projects to be funded by the Georgia Department of Transportation, and authorized the acceptance of $877,053 in state funding once the application is accepted.

The Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant project list seeks funds to resurface Chaffin Road from Crabapple Road to Northgate Trace; Dogwood Road from Riverside to Grimes Bridge roads; Hembree Road from Chaffin to Crabapple; Lake Charles Drive from Pine Grove to Jones roads; Mansell Road from Ga. 92 to Ga. 140; and Riverside Road from Ga. 9 to Dogwood.

Any remaining funds after paving can be used for bridge maintenance, staff said in a report to the council.
