High school juniors and seniors are invited to the Roswell Roots 3rd Annual College and Greek Fair on Sunday, Feb. 24. The event, offering free college admission counseling, is part of Roswell Roots: A Festival of Black History and Culture.
The fair is free and open to the public and will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. at the East Roswell Recreation Center, 9000 Fouts Road. Students will be able to meet with admissions personnel, resource groups and representatives of Greek letter organizations.
An informational forum will precede the fair at 1 p.m., discussing the application process, financial assistance and sustainability, followed by a “pitch competition” where students can win financial book awards, officials said. A book award will be offered to the school or church with the most students attending.
Participants are asked to RSVP and register for the forum and competition at Eventbrite: https://bit.ly/2tqXY0R
