The Roswell City Council has accepted a $3,000 Fulton County Arts and Culture grant and approved a $7,000 city match for a pilot program of a new family music series.

The program, Summer Sounds, “will expand the Roswell Cultural Arts Center’s offerings for young audiences and would engage one nationally recognized and one local act to perform in the summer of 2019,” according to a resolution passed by the council.

The Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department would oversee the grant project.
