The Roswell City Council has awarded a $145,800 professional services contract to Management Partners Inc. to guide the city through Phase II discussions of its strategic plan.

The aim of the second phase is to digest what was learned in Phase I, the community engagement phase; have the city’s executive team and City Council determine a vision, values, goals and objectives; develop performance measures and an implementation plan; and draft a final plan, City Administrator Gary Palmer said in a memo to the council.

Management Partners, a Cincinnati-based consultant to local government, was one of five firms that responded to a request for proposals and was ranked the highest by a city evaluation committee.

It will work with Planning Next, the city’s Phase I consultant, “to ensure a seamless transition between the phases and to maintain the connection to the community through Phase II,” Palmer said.
