Roswell residents will have the opportunity to buy do-it-yourself rain barrel kits, a program of the city and Keep Roswell Beautiful.

The $30 kits will be available from Tuesday, June 18, through Saturday, June 29, according to a city announcement. The offer is limited to Roswell residents, one barrel per household. To order: https://bit.ly/2ZoDLXw

Kits can be purchased online and picked up at the Roswell Recycling Center, 11570 Maxwell Road. The center is open 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Tuesday–Thursday; 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.

Purchasers will receive all the materials needed to build a rain barrel, including a 55-gallon food-grade drum and fittings to attach it to a downspout; the only tool needed will be a drill (as well as a vehicle large enough to transport the 55-gallon barrel home).
