A Roswell woman was arrested for allegedly driving drunk with her daughter in the car early Sunday, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Concepcion Romero, 40, was charged with DUI and child endangerment after being stopped on Holcomb Bridge Road at Grimes Bridge Road around 1:45 a.m. for failure to maintain lane.

Police said her 7-year-old daughter was not secured in the back seat. Family members picked up the child at the scene.

Officer Lisa Holland told Channel 2 that Romero refused to take a breath or blood test and was arrested after failing a field sobriety test.

“She’s not only putting herself in danger, she’s putting people on the road in danger,” Holland said. “She’s also endangering her own child.”
