Roswell to make downtown street change

The Roswell Department of Transportation will convert Elizabeth Way downtown from one-way to two-way travel this week. Right now, drivers can only travel westbound from Alpharetta Highway to Canton Street.

After the conversion allowing eastbound travel, drivers will be able to turn right onto Alpharetta, but left turns will be prohibited. The city says the street and parking spaces on the north side of Elizabeth will remain open during construction, but spaces facing Heart of Roswell park will be temporarily blocked off.
