Transportation and land-use planning issues will be at the fore when the city of Roswell and the Roswell Arts Commission present a discussion on creative approaches in those areas 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Muse Gallery, 39 Oak Street, Roswell.

Among the speakers will be Heather Alhadeff, the head of Center Forward LLC, an Atlanta-based firm that specializes in land-use planning and transportation issues. The free presentation is open to the public and is part of Roswell’s celebration of National Arts and Humanities month in October.
