The city of Roswell is inviting the public to the 8:15 p.m. April 27 dedication of its new Fire Station No. 4 at Old Alabama Road and Market Boulevard, near the Publix shopping center.

The evening includes a tour of the 15,000-square-foot facility, a two-story building with three drive-through bays, living quarters on the ground floor and sleeping quarters on the top floor.

The station occupies a 3-acre site and replaces the former station No. 4 on Holcomb Bridge Road. The city last summer approved a contract with Turner Construction to build the new fire house at a guaranteed maximum price of $4,845,579.
