Roswell residents will have an opportunity "to share their vision for the city's future" at a Together Roswell Community Summit, according to a city announcement.

The summit is set for 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, in the Centennial High School gymnasium, 9310 Scott Road.

It is the culminating event for Together Roswell, the effort to involve citizens in developing Roswell’s first city-wide strategic plan, officials said. Community-wide listening sessions and an online survey earlier this year brought responses from more than 2,000 participants.

Visitors will receive a summary report of the responses and will work on a community vision statement through activities and discussions.

“We all need to be at the table for this important discussion,” said Gary Palmer, Roswell city administrator. “The meeting on Nov. 14 will be a pivotal moment for our community, and we’re excited to continue the conversation.”

A final engagement report, including the vision statement, is expected in the first quarter of 2020. Information: https://bit.ly/32KuDig
