The Rockdale County Board of Education adopted on Jan. 18 a revision to the 2017-18 school year calendar. March 12 was changed from a teacher work day to an instructional day. The revised calendar will reclaim lost instructional time due to inclement weather on Jan. 8.
The recent Independent Learning Days, held Jan. 17-19 due to inclement weather, will not require make-up days since instruction continued during that time online and at home.
