Roadwork coming soon to Buford Highway in Duluth

Residents living in Duluth neighborhoods off of Ga. 23/ Buford Highway, North of Old Peachtree Road, may notice “Road Work Ahead” signs have recently gone up on nearby streets. The Georgia Department of Transportation will begin soon with a planned resurfacing project on Highway 23 beginning just north of Old Peachtree Road and ending just south of State Route 20 in Buford.

The contractor, ER Snell, is expected to begin construction sometime in the spring. Information: GDOT district 1 office at 770-532-5526 or 770-535-5759.
