Road improvements on their way to Old Norcross Road

Gwinnett commissioners okayed 2009 SPLOST funds Tuesday for safety and alignment upgrades along Old Norcross Road at its intersection with Ingram Road in Norcross.

Improvements will increase sight distance and safety at the Ingram Road intersection with Old Norcross Road. The project will add a right turn lane from Old Norcross Road onto Ingram Road along with sidewalk, curb and gutter, and drainage improvements. CMES Inc. was the lowest responsive bidder at $502,905. Work should be completed by the end of this year.
