Construction activity continues for now on the I-85 widening project resulting in single-lane closures this weekend near Braselton in Barrow and Jackson counties.

Beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, March 27, through 7 p.m. Sunday, March 29, a continuous single-lane closure will be in place in the northbound, outside lane starting at milepost 127, south of the bridge over Mulberry River to milepost 128, north of the bridge.

Drivers are reminded to obey posted speed limits and traffic control measures near this construction area. Additional information about the I-85 Widening project: www.tinyurl.com/I85Widening.
