A Chamblee Mexican restaurant failed its recent health inspection with officials citing concerns with cleanliness and roaches.

The roaches were crawling on silverware at Taqueria el Milagro, located at 2714 Shallowford Road, on Monday, according to the inspector's report.

That was a "repeat violation," the report said.

Efforts to reach the restaurant for comment weren't successful Thursday. The phone number listed online has been disconnected.

The inspector also reported there were no paper towels at the hand-washing station and seeing an employee handling raw eggs before touching cooked food.
