Riverside redevelopment workshop on Monday

A community workshop about redevelopment issues in the Riverside area will be 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at the South Cobb Recreation Center, 875 Six Flags Drive, Austell.

The South Cobb Redevelopment Authority and Cobb County staff are working together to reduce crime, beautify the neighborhood and develop opportunities for new private sector investment.

Input is needed to develop a strategy that is responsive to local needs.
