MARTA riders can now load their Breeze cards from the comfort of home.

The transit authority has added a new feature on its website that allows customers to buy Breeze cards or add fare to cards they already have by going on http://www.breezecard.com/.

There, customers can set up an online account to buy and manage up to 14 Breeze cards. They can also register for balance protection if their card is lost or stolen, according to MARTA officials.

All the products that are available in the Breeze vending machines are now accessible online, officials said.

“This online feature puts planning and preparing for a trip right at your fingertips and truly enhances the way customers use our system," said MARTA General Manager Beverly A. Scott.

Breeze cards purchased online will be mailed to customers within two to five  business days. A non-graphics version of the website is available for visually impaired users.
