The city of Roswell will hold a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the completion of the Eves Road street project 9 a.m. July 28 off the access road connecting the road to East Roswell Park.

The so-called “complete street” project added on-street bicycle lanes, a multi-use path, upgraded sidewalks and several pedestrian crosswalks to Eves Road from Holcomb Bridge to Riverside roads. In addition, the project improved storm water management, added a new access driveway to East Roswell Park and upgraded the parking area near the park.

The $2.1 million project was funded by a combination of 2012 bond issue proceeds and city capital funds.

Pond Company designed the street and it was constructed by Vertical Earth Inc.
