Fayetteville Police are offering a $1,000 reward for information regarding a theft that occurred at Betty’s Fine Collectibles on Dec. 26. Video footage shows two women, with two small children, entering the store at 123 E. Stonewall Ave. While one woman distracted the store clerk, the other was seen taking the employee’s wallet from a purse behind the counter. The clerk’s credit cards were subsequently used at several stores, including a Walmart in Griffin. Anyone with information about the women’s identities should call Detective Shawn Albea at 770-719-4224.
