Crime Stoppers has increased its reward for information leading to an arrest in connection with the killing of George Young.

Young, 43, was fatally shot around midnight Nov. 17 when he was returning to his Buford home after working a security job. His family heard the gunshots from inside the home and tried to give him medical help until an ambulance arrived. Young died at the scene.

Preliminary evidence in the case indicates that someone was waiting for Young on his front porch, according to Gwinnett County police.
