The Rev. Peter Tibi, who leads a group that helps rehabilitate communities affected by the brutal war in Sudan, will be the keynote speaker during a program Wednesday at the King Center, 450 Auburn Ave. N.E.

He will speak on "Making Dreams Come True: Pursuing Peace in South Sudan". The program starts at 7 p.m.

South Sudan was established after a constitutional referendum. The program begins with a reception and musical performance, followed by a panel discussion and question and answer session.

Tibi is an International Peacemaker of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. His speaking tour in Atlanta, which includes  other events, is sponsored by the Presbyterian Peacemaking Partnership of the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta.
