Retailers have game plans if Falcons win Sunday

Football fans seeking some Super Bowl merchandise if the Atlanta Falcons win Sunday will have two metro Atlanta retailers to call on.

Dick’s Sporting Goods will have special hours at 13 area locations Sunday evening and Monday if the Falcons beat Green Bay and advance to the Super Bowl, the store announced.

Also, Academy Sports and Outdoors will immediately begin selling NFC conference championship T-shirts and hats if the Falcons win, the company announced. Stores will remain open until the last customer is served or the T-shirts sell out, the company said.

These Dick’s locations will reopen Sunday evening and open at 6 a.m. Monday if the Falcons win: Lenox Marketplace (Atlanta), Mall of Georgia at Millcreek (Buford), North Point Mall (Alpharetta), Southpoint (McDonough), The Village at Newnan Crossing, Canton Marketplace, Fayette Pavilion (Fayetteville), East Cobb Crossing (Marietta), Lakeshore Mall (Gainesville), Town Center Commons (Kennesaw), Peachtree Square (Norcross), North Logan Commons (Loganville) and Cumming Town Center.

Also, the Lenox Marketplace and Mall of Georgia Marketplace Dick’s locations will have in-store activities Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  (The game kicks off at 3 p.m.) The events include face-painting and cheer cards, according to the announcement.
