Duluth has contracted with Wildcat Striping to restripe the roadway on Davenport Road from Windsor Gate Run to Buford Highway. Drivers can expect delays while this work is being done Saturday, Aug. 31.
According to the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration, “pavement markings play one of the most important safety functions on our roads.” Roadway striping alerts drivers to lane boundaries and the intended travel path over short distances ahead.
Duluth is asking drivers to avoid this restriping area if possible on Aug. 31 or proceed with caution if you must navigate this roadway.
