Residents of Alpharetta and Milton are invited to a public input meeting Thursday to discuss the future of the Highway 9 Corridor. The meeting is at 6 p.m. at Milton City Hall, 13000 Deerfield Parkway.

The Atlanta Regional Commission has awarded a $100,000 Livable Centers Initiative grant to both cities for a planning study of the Ga. 9 area. After completion and adoption of the plan, the area becomes eligible for additional money to implement transportation projects identified in the study.
