The By Way, a popular bypass through Druid Hills, will be closed to traffic for a month-long repair project beginning at 6 a.m. Aug. 31, according to the office of DeKalb County CEO Burrell Ellis.

The short stretch, a well-used detour around the clogged intersection at Briarcliff Road and Ponce de Leon Avenue, will be closed between Briarcliff and Oxford roads until Sept. 28.
